Join us tomorrow (May 12) in beautiful Nogawa Park at 10:30 am for our annual Mother's Day Japanese and English department joint worship, followed by a picnic lunch and recreation.
Please join us on Sunday, May 12 in beautiful Nogawa Park at 10:30 am for worship, followed by lunch and recreation. The all-MCC Mother's Day joint service and picnic is a 40-plus year tradition, bringing the Japanese and English Departments together for the day.
You can get there by:
• train – about a 15 minute walk from Shin–Koganei station on the Seibu Tamagawa line.
• bus – Nimaibashi bus stop. Buses depart from Musashi-Sakai station (south side), Musashi-Koganei station (south side),
and Chofu station (north side)
• bicycle – free parking on site!
• car – pay parking lot at the far south end of the park. (About a 15 minute walk to the service site.)
There is no legal street parking near the park.

What to bring:
Lunch: It is recommended to bring lunch from home, or to buy it on the way to the park. There are vending machines for drinks in the park area but there are no convenience stores in or near the park itself. For those using Shin–Koganei station there is a Family Mart not far from the station as you walk toward the park.
Ground sheet: There are no seats or benches, so you also may wish to bring a lawn chair if you prefer not to sit on the ground.
Sports equipment such as balls, frisbees, etc.
